Academy Day
We want to ensure a smooth start and end to each school day for our students. Here’s a breakdown of our morning and afternoon procedures:
Morning Routine:
- Teaching staff will be ready to greet their classes promptly at 8:40 am.
- Reception students will be welcomed into their classrooms directly from the class doors.
- For KS1, designated spots in the KS1 playground will be marked for lining up.
- Year 3 & 4 students will line up in the Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).
- Year 5 & 6 students will line up on the front playground.
- Please note that class doors will be closed at 8:45 am. Any late arrivals should proceed directly to the front office.
Afternoon Dismissal:
- Our school day ends at 3:15 pm.
- KS1 students will be dismissed from the school doors.
- Year 3 & 4 students will be dismissed from the MUGA.
- Year 5 & 6 students will be dismissed from the front playground.
Additional Information:
- Breakfast club starts at 8:00 am. For further details, please contact the school office.
- We offer a variety of before and after-school clubs and activities. For more information, please contact the school office.
Nursery
The morning session runs between 8.30am and 11.30am. The afternoon session runs
between 12.30pm to 3.30pm.
Reception
- Children come into school at 8.40am
- We work together as a class
- We work in smaller key worker groups
- We use all of our space, including outdoors
- We can have our snacks and drinks when we need them
- We have our lunch at 11.30am until 12.20pm
- We finish our day at 3.15pm
Key Stage 1
- Children in Years 1 & 2 have their 15 minute morning break from 10.30am – 10.45am
- Lunchtime is between 11.45am and 12.35pm
- We finish our day at 3.15pm
Lower Key Stage 2 – Years 3 & 4:
- Children in Year 3, have their 15 minute morning break between 10.30am – 10.45am
- Lunchtime is between 11.45am and 12.35pm
- Children in Year 4, have their 15 minute morning break between 10.45am – 11.00am
- Lunchtime is between 12:20pm and 1.10pm
- Our KS2 children do not have an afternoon playtime.
- We finish our day at 3.15pm
Upper Key Stage 2 – Years 5 & 6:
- Children in Years 5 & 6, have their 15 minute morning break between 10.45am – 11.00am
- Lunchtime is between 12:20pm and 1.10pm
- Our KS2 children do not have an afternoon playtime.
- We finish our day at 3.15pm
